John M. VonAlmen, 76, died January 22, 1980 in Belleair, Florida. He was the brother of Mrs. Walter (Anna K. Bullard) of Olney.

Mr. vonAlmen was the son of Simon and Louise M. (Kaiser) von Almen. In November 1929, he married Helen Biggers in St. Louis.

He was an engineer with the Shell Oil Co. in St. Louis and in New York. He also worked with Dixie Pipeline in Alanta.

Besides his sister, Mr. vonAlmen is survived by his wife, Helen, and a brother, Karl, New Port Richey, Fla.

Memorial services for Mr. von Almen held at the Moss Funeral Home in Clearwater, Fla.
