Mrs. Roger G. Moore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. L. vonAlmen, passed away Monday (March 1931) at their home in Washington, D.C.

Mrs. Moore will be remembered as Miss Vera Louise vonAlmen, one of Olney's most popular and accomplished young ladies.

She graduated from the OIney High School in 1921, and later graduated with honors from the Washington University, St. Louis.

Of late years her health failed and everything possible was done, but nothing could  avert the end.  Mr. and Mrs. vonAlmen were called to Washington several weeks ago owing to her serious illness, and Mrs. vonAlmen remained  with her daughter until she passed away. Her many friends in Olney sincerely mourn her death.
