Susie L. Head, 83, Columbus, Ohio, died August 9, 1985, in a nursing home in Columbus.

Graveside services  in Haven Hill Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Summers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Head was born Jan. 22, 1902, in Jasper County, the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. A.O. Jacobs. She married Charles W. Head and he preceded her in death in 1958.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Higgins, Columbus, Ohio; a brother, Oral Jacobs, Denver, Colo.; two sisters, Etha May and Helen Jacobs, both of Newton; and two grandchildren.
