J. Orville Hawkins, 81, of Sun City, Arizona and formerly of Olney and Casey, Illinois died Thursday, January 26, 1982 in Sun City. Funeral services in Sun City and also in Casey at the Casey United Methodist Church with burial in Arizona.

Mr. Hawkins was a long-time music department director at Casey High School before retiring to Arizona. He was also active in the former Evangelical United Brethren and United Methodist churches in Casey.

John Orville Hawkins was the son of Harry O. and Nettie (Frost) Hawkins.

His wife, Nora Lou survives and brother, L.O. (Mike) Hawkins, Arizona and sister, O'Neal Hinkle, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
