Mrs. Mercedes McCarty, 70, of Princeton, Indiana, and a sister of the late Ernest Campbell of Olney died Saturday afternoon July 10, 1971 at the Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Campbell and had often visited here.  She was a registered nurse and was the wife of a Princeton physician.

Survivors include her husband, Virgil; a daughter, Susan at home; a son, Joseph R. of Fort Walton Beach, Fla. and four nieces.

Services at Colvin and Son Funeral Home in Princeton with burial in White Church Cemetery.
