Marie E. Brant Welch, 79 of Ingraham, Illinois died Thursday, March 16, 1978 in Clay County Hospital, Flora. Funeral services in Ingraham Christian Church with burial in Ingraham Cemetery.

Mrs. Welch was born in Clay County, daughter of John and Hattie Brant. She married George Welch who died in 1972. She was a member of Ingraham Christian Church.

Survivors are son, Dallas of Chicago; daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Payne of Ingraham; brothers, Ellis Brant of Jacksonville, Johnnie Brant of Ingraham; sister, Mrs. Lillian Wilcox of Clay City; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
