Thomas Scott - Class Of 1967

Two men were killed instantly shortly after midnight, September 20, 1969, in the collision of a car and a semi-trailer truck, about five miles north of Olney on Rte. 130. Killed were the driver of the car, Russell Lee Covert, 24, address uncertain, and his passenger, Thomas G. Scott, 20 of 803 W. Elm St., in Olney.

Both men were employed by the Davey Tree Trimming Co.

Thomas Gene Scott is survived by his wife, Geneva; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wiliam Scott of 1115 N. Fair St., Olney; a sister, Phyllis Scott of Olney; grandpaents, Mr. and Mrs. George Scott of Olney and Mrs. Rossie Stone of Olney.

Funeral services in the Memorial Chapel of the Summers-Rainey Funeral Home with Brother James Rue in charge. Burial in Haven Hill.
