Cleo C. Groff, 97, of Olney, died Thursday, May 25, 2006, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Minister Ben Woollard officiating. Burial in Eureka Cemetery in rural Claremont.

Ms. Groff was born on July 13, 1908, in Colony, Okla., the daughter of Odis and Stella (Heral) Groff. She never married. She was a registered nurse for over 20 years for the State of Illinois. She was a member of Eureka Church of Christ.

She is survived by three cousins, Laura Crites, of Olney, Dorotha Downing, of Oklahoma, and Catherine Mieke, of Arizona, and several other cousins.

Ms. Groff was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Walker Eugene Groff; and one sister, Thelma.
