Lucille Hurn Smith, 94, of Olney died Sunday May 8, 2005 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Visitation at home of John and Vera Hurn and at First United Methodist Church in Olney. Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Reverend Scott Carlson officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. Smith was born on April 13, 1911, in Olney, the daughter of Luther and Huldah (Koertge) Hurn. She married David B. Smith Jr. He preceded her in death on January 30, 2001.

She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Olney. She was a graduate of University of Illinois and a past International President of the PEO Sisterhood.

Mrs. Smith is survived by two sons, David P. "Pilot" Smith of Olney and Mark Hurn Smith of Chickasha, Okla.; a brother, John D. Hurn and his wife, Vera of Olney; a granddaughter, Melinda A. Smith and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
