Alice Godeke, 90, of Olney died Thursday August 23, 2001 at Burgin Manor in Olney.  Funeral services at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney with Reverend Father Jerry Wirth officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery Mausoleum in Olney.

Mrs. Godeke was born on February 23, 1911 in Ingraham, the daughter of George and Della (Barker) Thomann. She married Frank Bernard Godeke on June 6, 1934. He preceded her in death on December 19, 1997. She was a registered nurse at Weber Hospital and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney.

Mrs. Godeke is survived by a son, Dan Godeke of Caspar, Calif.; a daughter, Harriett Glenn of Westchester, Pa.; two sisters, Ann Walsh of Sierra Vista, Ariz. and Helen Horoshowski of New Jersey; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and one brother.
