John "Jack" Kinkade - Class Of 1929

Jack Kinkade, 79, Corydon, Indiana, formerly of Richland County, died early Thursday April 7, 1988 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.  Services at Gielback and Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, Ind.

Mr. Kinkade was born October 16, 1908 in Richland County, the son of Tom and Mary Kinkade. He married Madge Pottorff on November 29, 1934. She survives, living in Corydon.

Mr. Kinkade was a retired inspector of grade A milk at the Milk Plant in Louisville, Ky. and a retired representative of the Silo-Matic Silo Company of Minnesota. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Corydon.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Kinkade is survived by a daughter, Deena Rhoads of Corydon; two sisters, Esther Weaver of St. Louis, Mo. and Ruth Schuler of Ft. Collins, Colo. and by a granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
