CATHERINE CAMPBELL, 82, of Olney died Sunday May 31, 1992 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Ky.  Funeral services at Zirkle Funeral Home with Rev. Loretta Cummins officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Campbell was born April 15, 1910 in Olney, the daughter of Lyman A. and Bessie F. (Fiock) Brewer. She married Berlin Campbell Oct. 25, 1936 in Terre Haute, Ind. He preceded her in death Sept. 26, 1985.

Mrs. Campbell was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church; member of Clio Club of Olney; past president of Richland County Home Extension; past chapter president and past Illinois State president of Colonial Dames XVII Century; Chapter Registrar of Daughters of American Revolution; charter president of Richland County Genealogical Society; past member Commission Archives and History Southern Illinois Conference of U M Church. She was a 4-H leader for 13 years.

Mrs. Campbell is survived by one son, Dan Campbell of Albuquerque, N.M.; two daughters, Glenna Brooks of Olney and Sarah Akins of Lenoir, N.C.; four grandsons; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Russell Brewer and Paul Brewer and one sister, Lois Kimmel.
