William Verle Woods, 74, of Indianapolis, IN died Wednesday July 20, 1983 in St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. 

Mr. Woods was born January 14, 1909 in Bridgeport, IL the son of James M. and Emma G. (Crump) Woods.  He married Marjorie Clevenger in 1953 and she survives.

Mr. Woods was a printer 44 years for Jobbers Publishing. He retired in 1981. He was a member of Crooked Creek Conservation Club.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Woods; three brothers; Joy and Jimmy, both of Brandenton, FL and Cecil of West Salem, IL; two sisters, Mrs. Imogene Pauley of Bradenton, Fl and Mrs. Mildred Akers of Lawrenceville, IL and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Pauline Dush.
