Jacob H. Thomson Jr., 89, of Terre Haute, Indiana died Thursday, March 16, 2000 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Ind.

Funeral services at DeBaun Funeral Home's Idaho Street Chapel in Terre Haute, with his daughter, Martha Thomson Gilmour giving the eulogy.  Cremation to follow.

Mr. Thomson was born November 15, 1910 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the son of Jacob H. and Zuleima M. (Sanders) Thomson Sr.

He is survived by three sons, Thomas Lloyd Thomson, Paul Guy Thomson and David George Thomson; one daughter, Martha Thomson Gilmour; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Mary Catherine Lloyd Thomson.
