Blondeana Worrell (Houser)

Blondeana Houser, 1201 N. Walnut, Olney, died April 17, 1989, in Richland Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Houser was born March 9, 1910, in Richland County the daughter of John and Nettie (Worrell) Barlow. She married William Houser, Jr., March 8, 1930, and he preceded her in death in June, 1965.

She was a retired ward clerk at Richland Memorial Hospital. She was a 56 year member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and Elks Does.

Survivors include a son, William R. Houser, Effingham; three daughters, Patricia Barche and Marianne Houser, both of Olney, and Jane L. Bateman of Flora; a sister, Mary S. VonAlmen, Olney; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Services in the First Baptist Church in Olney with the Rev. Ron Bowen presiding. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.
