William Richard Randle, 91, of Shaker Heights, Ohio died December 12, 2002 in Cleveland, Ohio. Funeral Mass as St. Dominic Church in Shaker Heights.

Born in Mattoon, Illinois September 29, 1911, son of Gilbert P. and Winifred (Schmalhausen) Randle, he was a long-time Shaker Heights resident.

He was a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He was a Mason and a member of Shaker Heights Country Club.

Mr. Randle was employed by Industrial Rayon Corporation (IRC Fibers), which became part of American Cyanamid. He worked as an accountant before becoming Production Control Manager of Knitted Cloth. He joined the purchasing department, from which he retired as director in 1976.

Survivors are: his wife, Florence J. (Ritch) Randle; cousin, Col. John Watson of Arlington, Va.; and nieces and nephews.

Interment in All Souls Cemetery in Courtland, Ohio.
