Alice Tennyson (Onsgard)

Alice T. Onsgard, 81, of Colorado Springs died Dec. 23, 1991, at a local hospital. Services held in Orfordville, Wis.  Private inurnment is planned.

She was a biology teacher in Joliet, Ill., before retiring in 1970.

Mrs. Onsgard was born Jan. 14, 1910, in Olney, Ill., to John and Minnie (Gray) Tennyson.

She had lived in Colorado Springs for 20 years and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She received her master's degree from the University of Illinois. She was married May 19, 1951, in Iola, Wis., to Leonard M. Onsgard, who survives.

She also is survived by a son, Michael A. of Channahon, Ill.; a daughter, Judith Onsgard Rhind of Mequon, Wis.; two brothers, Paul Tennyson of Laguna Hills, Calif., and Levi Tennyson of Olney; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
