Vena F. (Provines) Rexroat, 101, of Champaign died Thursday, May 19, 2011, at the Champaign-Urbana Regional Rehab Center, Savoy.  Funeral services at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. 

Mrs. Rexroat was born Feb. 27, 1910, in Olney, the daughter of Willie F. and Eva (Schick) Provine. She married John W. Rexroat on Nov. 15, 1928, in Olney. He died August 7, 1994.

Survivors include two daughters, Dolores M. Wisegarver of Farmer City and Carolyn M. Dodd of Homer; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, two sisters and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Rexroat was Methodist. She was a member of the Eagles, Farm Bureau and school board; an election judge; and a seamstress. She did a lot of volunteer work and received a letter from the president for her volunteer work and also for her 100th birthday.
