Leslie Daubs, 79, Mt. Erie, died Wednesday July 26, 1989 at Richland Memorial Hospital.  Services at Hosselton Funeral Home, Cisne with Rev. Jim Williams and Rev. Rusty Beals presiding. Burial in Scott Cemetery in Mt. Erie.

Mr. Daubs was born July 28, 1909 in Mt. Erie, the son of John and Phoebe (Totten) Daubs.  He married Ruth Huntsberry on April 19, 1939 in Henderson, Ky.  She preceded him in death april 21, 1982.

He was a retired elementary teacher and principal and a member of the Mt. Erie Ruritan Club, the Retired Teachers' Association and was a multi-township assessor in Wayne County.

Survivors include a son, Maurice Edwin Daubs, Seward; two daughters, Mrs. Albert (Carol Ann) Wisely, Colorado Springs, Colo. and Mrs. Jeffrey (Sheryl Lynn) Hinkle, Aurora, Colo.; three brothers, John Daubs, Carmi; Neal Daubs, Clearwater, Fla. and Dale Daubs, Mt. Erie; two sisters, Mrs. LaVern Van Matre, Olney and Mrs. Omen (Irene) Slaten, Paris, Texas and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
