Charles Melvin Ring, 67, of Denver, Colorado and formerly of Noble, died Monday, August 10, 1975 in a Veteran's Hospital in Denver. He was born September 18, 1908 in Noble, Illinois a son of Sylvanus C. and Elizabeth (Daugherty) Ring.

Mr. Ring was a U.S. Army veteran.

Surviving besides his wife, Gloria Hopfinger Ring, are four sons and two daughters and sister, Mrs. Ruby (Ring) Wright of Olney.

He is preceded in death by sisters, Chloe Diel and Ida Buckles; brothers, Dr. William Ring, Eli F. Ring, Dr. George J. King, Marion Verle Ring and Dr. Carl Ring. Funeral services were held in Denver.

Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
