Simi Valley, California – Graveside services for Mary K. (Freed) Bacon, age 79 will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Oakland Cemetery in Montezuma. No calling is scheduled. Brown Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.

Mrs. Bacon was born in Indiana December 23, 1910 a daughter of Reverend Theodore J. and Minnie I. (Bradfield) Freed. She married Alfred J. Bacon and he passed away in 1964.

Mrs. Bacon, formerly of Indianapolis, died Sunday, June 10, 1990.

She had been a teacher in the Indianapolis Public Schools and in Simi Valley, California.

Survivors include brother, Robert Byron Freed; sisters, Edna Louise Britton and Pauline Randolph.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Herman Freed, Edward Freed and Ernest Freed
