Harry Ellis Shannon, 65, of New Albany, Indiana died Saturday, February 24, 1973 at Methodist Evangelical Hospital, Louisville, Kentucky. He was born May 13, 1907 a son of Ralph Roy and Mabel (Blood) Shannon.

Mr. Shannon was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church and Jefferson Lodge No.104 A.F. & A.M.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda W. (Riely) Shannon; a son, Ronald E. Shannon of New Albany; a daughter, Miss Gail Shannon of New Albany; a brother, William H. Shannon and a sister, Lorraine Kinkade.
