Velma L. Fritschle Dressel, 90, of Olney, died Wednesday May 12, 1999 at Richland Memorial Hospital.  Graveside services with Minister Keith Krueger in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. Dressel was born March 11, 1909 in Richland County, the daughter of Abe and Daisy (Mercer) Mitchell. She married Gayland Fritschle March 1, 1937. He died in 1944. She then married Omar Dressel in 1948. He survives.

Mrs. Dressel was the owner of a vending service.

She is survived by her husband, Omar Dressel of Olney; one daughter, Julia "Judy" Smith and her husband, Clarence of Olney; two sisters, Wilma Fritschle and her husband,  Connie of Olney and Loda Kimmel of Olney; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, one son, Jerry Fritschle and two brothers, Loren Mitchell and Bill Mitchell.
