Gerald F. Allard, 93, of Noble, died Thursday January 16, 2003 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Noble with Pastor Brett Best officiating. Burial in Noble Cemetery.

Mr. Allard was born on September 1, 1909 in Richland County, the son of Reuben Mike and Lola (Eagleton) Allard. He married Irene Jenner on August 15, 1936 in Xenia. She preceded him in death in 1974.

He was a school teacher and an office clerk for Pure Oil Company. He was a member of Noble United Methodist Church and a 71-year member of Masonic Lodge.

Mr. Allard is survived by a son, Michael Duane Allard and his wife, Sherry of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Jeanette Tuttle and her husband, Thomas of New Palestine, Ind.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, a son, Larry Don and a brother, Merle.
