Harry Jay Alcorn, age 21, died at noon last Saturday, September 29, 1928 at Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he had gone with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry C. and Louise (Wachtel) Alcorn, a few weeks ago for the benefit of his health.

The body was brought here for burial, funeral services being held Tuesday afternoon at the Porter chapel with Rev. J.B. Farrell of the Presbyterian church in charge. Burial in Haven Hill cemetery.

Harry J. Alcorn was one of the most popular young men in Olney. He was outstanding in all athletics in the Olney Township High School. Owing to his failing health he was unable to finish his studies, having to cease school during his senior year. His death is sincerely mourned by all who knew him.
