P. A. Pearl “Steamer” White, 76, Olney, died at 6 a.m., August 7, 1984.  Services at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. David McNabb presiding.  Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.  Summers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. White was born September 29, 1907 in Olney, the son of Frank and Laura Hardy White.  He married Elizabeth Burritt  who survives.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder.  He was also a 50-year member of Olney Lodge No. 926 B.P.O.E.

Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Carol Elizabeth White, Dallas, Tex.; one brother, Jack Gibson, Dallas; a sister-in-law, Eleanor Burritt, Olney and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
