Carl Bunting, 79, Jennings, Mo. died January 19, 1987 in Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.  Services in the John Stygar and Sons Funeral Home in Jennings, Mo. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery in Jennings.

Mr. Bunting was born February 19, 1907 in Olney, the son of Elwin and Grace Bunting. He married Marzee Chenoweth of St. Louis.

He was a foreman at McQuay Norris Industries until his retirement in 1980. He was a member of the St. Louise De Marillac Diocese of Jennings.

Survivors include his wife, Marzee; three sons, Russell Bunting, Costa Mesa, Calif.; Robert Bunting, Inverness; Richard Bunting, Frankfort, Germany; a sister, Ruby Totten of Olney; and a sister-in-law, DeEtta Bunting, Sumner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, five brothers and two sisters.
