Frank Seiler, 90, of Richland County, died Aug. 20, 1996, at United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville.  Services at the First United Methodist Church in Olney with Rev. Mark Myers and Rev. Philip Richardson officiating. Burial in Haven Hill cemetery.

Seiler was born Aug. 8, 1906, in Dundas, the son of Henry Amos and Lora (Leaf) Seiler. He married Thelma R. Nicholas Dec. 18, 1932, in Olney.

He was a dairy herdsman at the University of Illinois, was past director for 27 years of Norris Electric Coop of Newton, was active in Dundas Ruritan Club and was a member of the Senior Citizens of Olney, the Richland County Farm Bureau and Meals on Wheels.

He is survived by his wife, of Lawrenceville; a son, Jerry Lee Seiler and his wife, Janet , of Libertyville; a daughter, Shirley Ann Gordon, and her husband Tom, of Urbana; two sisters, Helen Seiler, of Olney, and Hazel McWilliams, of Lawrenceville; and five grandchildren, Cynthia Gordon, David Gordon, John Gordon, Nancy Seiler and Linda Seiler.

Preceded in death by his parents.
