Edna (Schneiter) Dees, 86, of Oblong, died Saturday, June 10, 1995 at the Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson.  Graveside services at the Oblong City Cemetery, with Rev. Scott Grulke officiating.

Dees was born July 16, 1908 in Olney, the daughter of John and Emma (Wetzlau) Schneiter. She married Charles L. Dees, November 25, 1931, and he preceded her in death on June 3, 1994.

She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church and a member of the Sisterhood of P.E.O. KS Chapter, both of Oblong.

She is survived by two sons, Dan Dees and his wife, Judy, of Springfield, and Jim Dees, of Ft. Myers, Fla.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Mary Jane Schneiter, of Olney.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a sister and four brothers.
