Marjorie L. (Rodrick) Forney, 81, of Raleigh, N.C., formerly of Olney, died at her home at 1407 Fowlkers Place on Thursday, July 13, 1989.

Mrs. Forney was born in Chauncey, Illinois on November 14, 1907, the daughter of Ira and Eva (Mushrush) Rodrick.  She married Walter H. Forney Dec. 29, 1934 and he died Nov. 3, 1965. 

She was a retired registered nurse and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Olney.

Surviving are one daughter, Joanne Piper of Raleigh, N.C. and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Entombment at Haven Hill Mausoleum in Olney, Illinois. Summers Funeral Home in charge.
