Clarence S. Kocher, 81, Evansville, Indiana, formerly of Olney, died Tuesday, May 24, 1988 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville.  Funeral services at the Ziemer Shears Funeral Home in Evansville with Fr. Robert Deig celebrating the mass.  Entombment at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Kocher was born February 17, 1907 in Olney, the son of Peter and Ida (Copper) Kocher.

He was an assistant vice president of mortgages and loans at the Old National Bank in Evansville, retiring after 42 years.  He was a member of Christ the King Church in Evansville and of the Civitan Club in Evansville.

Mr. Kocher is survived by his wife, Elsie of Evansville and a sister, Edna Kapper of Olney.
