Kenneth Totten

Kenneth A. Totten, age 64, well known resident of Rt. 6, Olney passed away last night, February 2, 1972 at the Richland Memorial Hospital.

A lifelong resident of the county, Mr. Totten was born in Decker township November 29, 1907, the son of Ezra Grant Totten and Leanna Knight Totten. He was a mechanic by trade and was employed in the motor transport division of the Pure Oil Company for several years and in recent years, he operated his own business at his home.

He had been a long and faithful member of the First United Methodist Church in Olney. He was a member of Olney Lodge #140 A.F.&A.M. Henry Godeke Chapter #38, Olney Council #55 and the Swords of Bunker Hill.

He was married to Faith A. Bateman on January 2, 1930 at the Methodist Parsonage in Olney.

He leaves his wife and two sons: Ralph A. Totten of Nashville and Rev. Samuel N. Totten of Albion. There are seven grandchildren. He also leaves one brother, Dewey Totten of Olney.

He has been preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Coruna Ruth Totten and two brothers, Chester A. Totten and Ralph W. Totten.

Services at Summers-Marshall Funeral Home with Dr. W.A. Robinsin officiating. Interment in Haven Hill Cemetery.
