Nelle L. Bullard, 88, of Alton, formerly of Olney, died Sunday, Nov. 17, 1996, at Bethalto Care Center.

Services at Marks Mortuary in Wood River, with Rev. Joe Cusie officiating. Burial in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bethalto.

Bullard was born Oct. 20, 1908, in Richland County, the daughter of John and Myrtle (Noe) Moseley. She married Jerald Bullard. He preceded her in death June 6, 1984.

She was a housewife.

She is survived by a son, Jerry Bullard, of Tampa, Fla.; two step-sons, Jim Bullard, of Virginia, and Dave Bullard, of Alton; a daughter, Sue Shoesmith, of Medford, Ore.; and a step-daughter, Deloris Flowers, of Florissant, Mo.; two brothers, Leland Moseley, of Texas, and Don Moseley, of Florida; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a dear friend, Judy Cogan, of Alton.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
