Russell Leon "Russ" Phillips, 32 of Olney died Sunday June 25, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove, Indiana. Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Pastor Steve Wingert officiating. Burial in Liberty Lawn Cemetery in Olney.

Mr. Phillips was born on July 16, 1973 in Champaign, the son of Richard "Dick" and Judy (Woods) Phillips. He married Cyndie (Brashear) Phillips on May 2, 1997. He was a forklift operator at Wal-Mart Distribution Center.

He is survived by his wife, Cyndie Phillips of Paris; twin brothers, Robert Phillips of Olney and Roger Phillips of Flora; maternal grandfather, Russell Woods of Westville; maternal grandmother, Janet Butts of Westville and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Helen and Barthel Baker.
