Lawrence N. Wagy, 85, of Winter Springs, Fla. and formerly of Olney died at Mariner Health of Tuskawilla in Winter Springs Sunday May 29, 2000.  Services at Zirkle Funeral Home in Olney .

Mr. Wagy was born September 5, 1914 in Jasper County, the son of  James P. Jack and Delia Wagy. He married Bernadine Grayce Thomas in 1938 and she survives.

Mr. Wagy was a retired owner and operator of Wagy Auto Repair for 30 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Olney. He was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of Oddfellows and Kiwanis.

He is  survived by his wife, Bernadine Wagy of Winter Springs, Fla.; two sons, Lawrence Edwin Wagy and his wife, Lois of Minneapolis, Mn.; Thomas Ray Wagy and his wife, Pat of Texarkana, Texas; a daughter, Della Merle Wagy Barnocky and her husband, John of Orlando, Fla.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Wagy was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Vera May.
