Esther May "Toni" Phillips, 87, of Olney, passed away Monday, December 05, 2016 at Burgin Manor in Olney, IL.  Services at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home with cremation rites to follow.

She was born May 15, 1929 in Olney, IL the daughter of Herman and Edna (Shaw) Leathers. She married Dale Phillips on July 15, 1949.  He preceded her in death on May 13, 2003.

Toni was a member of the Red Hats and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, was involved in many plays and productions put on by her sorority, volunteered at Birth Right and was very active in her church. Toni and her husband, Dale, enjoyed traveling and spent some winters in Arizona. 

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Dave) Millikan of Emerald Isle, NC; daughter, Barbara Jamison of Cincinnati, OH; daughter, Vicki (David) Comisso of Austin, TX; son, Thomas (Jill) Phillips of Jeffersonville, IN; daughter, Wendy Zach of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Tracy (Joyce) Jamison, Michael (Janice) Millikan, Leslie (John) McAulay, Kathy Stevens, Romi Burks, Emily (Matt) Ferguson, and Joe Comisso; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Chester Leathers; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceeded in death by her parents; husband; brother, DeVere Leathers and grandchild, Nicole C. Phillips.

Memorials can be made to Hospice of Southeastern Illinois or Christian Church of Olney.
