Mrs. Rose Ann Leo, 80, of Denton, Texas passed away peacefully Sunday May 10, 2009.  Funeral at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Denton, Texas. Burial in Roselawn Cemetery in Denton, Texas.

Rose Ann was born on May 16, 1928 in Olney to Mr. and Mrs. Doit Freeland. She married Nelson F. Leo on Thanksgiving Day 1950 in Champaign. She moved to Denton in 1958 when her husband, Nelson accepted a position as an Associate Professor at North Texas State University.

She worked at Tobin Pharmacy for many years. Most of her life was devoted to being a homemaker taking care of her husband and daughter and volunteering with many community organizations.

She is survived by daughter, Stephanie Leo Nailion and her husband, Bobby of DeKalb, Texas; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Freeland; and husband, Nelson.
