Roena M. Baker, 50, Rt. 2, Sumner, died November 14, 1978 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, Ind. following a long period of ill health.  Funeral services at Summers Funeral Home with the Rev. Elmer Fenton officiating. Interment in the Memorial Garden section of Haven Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Baker was a native of Richland County, the daughter of Clifton Clodfelter and Ruth Matthes Clodfelter. She married Raleigh Baker September 4, 1948. She was a long-time member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Raleigh; a son, James Baker at home; two sons, James Baker and Wayne Baker;  daughter-in-law, Marsha Baker, Noble; mother, Mrs. Ruth Clodfelter, Olney; a grandmother, Mrs. Maude Matthes, Olney; a brother, Galen Clodfelter living in Vencennes, Ind; and a sister, Lois, living in Gold Canyon, AZ. 

Her father preceded her in death.
