Margery Ellen (Baskett) Fries, 67 of Albuquerque, NM for 34 years died on Saturday, October 12, 1996.  She was born March 11, 1928 daughter of Everett M. and Carter F. (Patton) Baskett.

Margery is remembered for her unshakeable commitment to life, courage and humor in the face of adversity.

She is survived by her husband, George T. Fries of the family home; one daughter, Barbara Elaine Fries of Albuquerque; three grandchildren and a brother, John R. Baskett of Santa Barbara, CA.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held in the chapel of St. Marks on the Mesa with Rev. Kathryn S. Moore officiating.
