Jack H. Mottweiler - Class Of 1945

The Rev. Jack H. Mottweiler, 70, of Winona Lake, Indiana, died Tuesday, December 30, 1997 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Services at Winona Lake Free Methodist Church with burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, IN.

Born in Danville, Ill., May 4, 1927, son of Vernon H. and Mildred A. Martin Mottweiler, he was a minister in several Free Methodist Churches and retired as an executive in the departments of Christian education and special ministries at the Free Methodist World Headquarters in 1987 after 21 years.

He received the Gift of Life from the National Kidney Foundation in 1995.

Surviving are his wife, Evelyn; a son, Marston Hugo of Bishop, Calif.; a daughter, Ann Lucile Truesdell of Edwards, N.Y.; a brother, Jerry of Tracy, Calif.; his stepmother, Helen K. Mottweiler of Ripon, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

Memorials to Marston Historical Center Endowment Fund or to Polycystic Kidney Research Foundation.
