Norma May Cazel, 79, of Columbus Township, died Sunday March 19, 2006 in Medilodge of Richmond.

Mrs. Cazel was born on December 31, 1926 in Illinois, to the late Luther and Mary (Schrey) Burgener. She married Denzel Cazel in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in August of 1946. Mr. Cazel died June 9, 2001.

Norma graduated from Olney Township High School in 1945 and worked in the kitchen at the former Eberhardt's Restaurant and as a cashier at the Speedway gas station, both in Richmond. She enjoyed playing bingo.

She is survived by her children, Gerald and Sandra Cazel of Riley Township, Linda Sartin of Georgetown, Ky. and Kathy and Edward Newsome of Lenox Township; her twin sister, Neoma Grove and another sister, Marjorie Graves both of Olney; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Roger Cazel on December 15, 2002 and great-grandson, Joshua Cazel in 1996.
