Neoma Fay Grove, 89, of Olney, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Burgin Manor in Olney.  Services at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home with burial in Haven Hill Memorial Garden, Olney.

Neoma was born December 31, 1926 in Dundas, Illinois, the daughter of Luther A. and Mary E. (Schrey) Burgener.  She married Robert Grove on June 25, 1952 at Saron Church in Dundas.  He preceded her in death on December 10, 2008.

Neoma and Robert were married for 56 years, living most of their lives on the family farm west of Olney.  Neoma took pleasure in gardening, mowing the grass, and being outdoors.  She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  Neoma will be missed by all those that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Akers Sterling of Graham, WA; son, William Grove of Olney, IL; grandsons, Michael Eric Akers and Robert William Akers, both of Washington; and great grandchildren, Kailee Akers, Nolan Akers, Blane Akers, and Harlee Akers, all of Washington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son, Gary Lee Grove, twin sister, Norma Cazel, and older sister Marjorie Graves.
