Lyle Boughan, age 79, of Murfreesboro, passed away Monday, January 22, 2007 at Mayfield Rehab and Special Care Center.

Born July 27, 1927, a native of Olney, IL, he worked for Heckett Engineering and was a member of Grace Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge in Jalparaiso, IN.

Mr. Boughan was preceded by his parents, William and Grace Boughan.

Mr. Boughan is survived by his wife, Betty Boughan of Murfreesboro; son, Denny Dugan of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Robert (Julie) Dugan, Mark (Trisha) Dugan, Jim Dugan, Angie (Chris) Goins, and Bradley Dugan; great-grandchildren Chelsey, Zack, Nathan, Savanah, Jessica, Rachel, Brittney, Austin, and Brinley.

Private services held at the funeral home.
