Maxine R. Waughtell, 99, of Santa Barbara, California passed away Monday, February 25, 2019. Miss Waughtell was born September 28, 1919 in Parkersburg, Illinois daughter of James F. and Effie E. (Coulter) Waughtell.

Miss Waughtell was a retired faculty member of Santa Barbara Junior College.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Syble M. Swisher.
