Bernadine Grayce Wagy, 83, of Texarkana, Texas, formerly of Olney died Wednesday April 21, 2004 in Texarkana, Texas.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Reverend Scott Carlson officiating. Burial in Dundas Cemetery.

Mrs. Wagy was born on December 4, 1920 in Richland County, the daughter of William Perry and Dessie (Scherer) Thomas. She married Lawrence Norval Wagy in 1938. He preceded her in death on May 29, 2000.

She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Olney.

Mrs. Wagy is survived by a daughter, Della Merle Wagy Barnocky and her husband, John of Orlando, Fla.; two sons, Lawrence Edwin Wagy and his wife, Lois of Minneapolis, Minn. and Thomas Ray Wagy and his wife, Pat of Texarkana, Texas; a brother, Ray Thomas of Tuscola; two nieces, Vickie Thomas of Springfield and Sandra Thomas of Ladd, Texas; and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, Orel and Max.
