Pauline Pool, 75, of Olney died Sunday July 2, 1995 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind.  Funeral services at Elm Street Christian Church in Olney with Rev. Keith Krueger officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Memorial Gardens.

Pool was born August 28, 1919 in Louisville, the daughter of Marion and Elizabeth (Gillespie) Stanley. She married Don Pool in 1939 and he survives.

She was co-owner/operator of Pool's True Value Store in Olney and was a member of the Richland Country Club and Olney Women's Club.

Surviving are her husband, of Olney; four sons, Dan of Crawfordsville, Ind., Stan and his wife, Glenda of Robinson, Jerry and his wife, Mary Lou of Olney and Ed and his wife, Anne of Paris; two daughters, Donna Brinkley and her husband, Dick of Paris and Sheryll Mitchell and her husband, Lee of Olney; one brother, Glenn Stanley of Florida; two sisters, Mary Wingert of Olney and Maxine Buckley of Crown Point, Ind.; 25 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.
