Mrs. Jennie Veva Crane, 49, of Mount Gilead, Ohio died Friday, January 19, 1968 at Morrow County Hospital after an illness of one month. She had been employed at Derrick Motel as a clerk.

Born May 10, 1918 in Berryville, Illinois to Bert A. and Flossie M. (Jones) Lathrop, she was married to Charles W.L. Crane. She was a member of the Berryville, Illinois Christian Church.

Surviving besides her parents and her husband, are five sons, Victor in the Army at Ft. Campbell, Ky, Robert in the Army in Viet Nam, Charles, Jr. of Carmi, Ill, Max of Mount Gilead and Michael at home; two daughters, Mrs. Vera Stratton of Carmi and Mrs. Ruth Ann Ostrum of Mount Gilead; two brothers, Levi B. of Mt. Carmel, Ill and Charles O. of Berryville, Ill; a sister, Mrs. June E. Lancaster of Sumner, Ill and ten grandchildren.
