Mabel Kermicle (Graves)

Mabel K. Graves, 89, of Olney, died Thursday, April 29, 2010, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Mrs. Graves was born August 11, 1920, in Richland County, the daughter of Edgar and Laura (Wiles) Kermicle. She married Melvin E. Graves on April 6, 1943, in St. Charles, Mo. He preceded her in death on December 6, 1993.

She was a retired homemaker and was involved in the operation of the Clover Farms Dairy for many years. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Olney.

Mrs. Graves is survived by her son, Jimmy Graves and his wife, Jayne, of Olney; son, Jerry Graves and his wife, Pat, of Dundas; son, Tony Graves and his wife, Christine, of Dundas; daughter, Marcia Vaughn and her husband, Ray, of Olney; sister, Eileen Stiff, of Olney; brother-in-law, Raymond Graves, of Olney; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Laura Kermicle; husband, Melvin E. Graves; infant son, Monty; granddaughter, Robin LeeAnn; brother, Don Kermicle; and sisters, Dorothy Phillips and Marie Wilson.

Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Reverend Jeremy Henson officiating.
Burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in rural Claremont.
