Mary Karr Gentry, 62, Harvard died July 29, 1982 in a Columbus, Indiana hospital.  Her body was donated to science and the remains have been cremated.

Mrs. Gentry was born December 19, 1920 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Elgia E. and Helen Karr.  She married Kenneth G. Gentry April 15, 1941 and he survives.

She was a bookkeeper and member of the Episcopal Church of Terre Haute, Ind.

Other survivors include three sons; Kenneth E., Harvard; Robert J., Morgan City, La.; John W., New Salisbury, Ind.; a daughter, S. Lynn Harvey, Douglasville, Pa.; three brothers; Edward Karr, Morgan City; Robert Karr, Olney; William Karr, Fort Campbell, Ky.; a sister, Sylvia Enge, Brazil, Ind.; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister and her parents.
