Ruth Jenner Zwermann, 88, of Greenville died Sunday, July 19, 2009, at her residence.  Memorial services at the First Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Chris Campbell officiating.

Mrs. Zwermann was born Dec. 25, 1920, in Olney, Ill. She was the daughter of Herman and Nellie English Jenner. She married Robert T. Zwermann on May 5, 1941, in St. Louis, Mo.

She was a homemaker and member of First Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Margaret "Peggy" Zwermann; sons, Robert Zwermann and Theodore Zwermann; sisters, Herma Dycus and Helen Mehmert Bauman; grandchildren, Bill and Rick Zwermann, Liz Walker, Katie Sickorez and Nicholas Zwermann; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Samuel and Jessica Zwermann and Allison and Dylan Walker and Sarah Sickorez.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
